Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Applied AI Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision (CV) and natural language processing (NLP), with a passion for developing AI solutions that address critical challenges in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities:
- Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and implement AI algorithms, with a focus on computer vision and natural language processing, to extract meaningful insights from healthcare data.
- Data Processing: Work with large-scale healthcare datasets, ensuring data quality, and implementing preprocessing techniques to enhance model performance.
- Model Training and Evaluation: Train, fine-tune, and evaluate machine learning models for healthcare applications, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
- Integration with Healthcare Systems: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into healthcare systems, fostering interoperability and user-friendly interfaces.
- Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, CV, and LLMs, and actively contribute to the development of innovative solutions that address emerging challenges in healthcare.
- Model Deployment – MLOPs (including AI model deployment) on public cloud systems like AWS/Azure
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with other team members, document algorithms and methodologies, and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven experience of min 3-5 years in developing and implementing AI solutions, particularly in CV and NLP. We are not looking for someone who does not have real AI model deployment experience in production.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, GPT 3.5/4, Huggingface, and etc.
- Experience working with large healthcare datasets and understanding of healthcare systems.
- Must be abreast with the latest libraries/tools/tech in AI space and should be able to showcase the practical aspects of the same
- Must possess the feasibility assessment mindset – building cost effective and practical AI based solutions
- Should be able to select appropriate open source LLMs and fine-tune the same for appropriate business problem
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
